Canon Announces Its Flagship DSLR EOS- IDX Mark III

Since 1989, the EOS-1 has been the flagship product of Canon. This year, Canon is all set to celebrate its 30th anniversary. On this occasion, the company has decided to announce its next big thing in line with EOS-IDX Mark III. The new model will have an impressive feature of 4K video at up to 60fps along with 10-bit 4:2:2-canon log internal recording. The camera is expected to feature two CFexpress slots. Mark III seems promising enough to be a faster and improved version of other EOS-1 collections. There is no confirmation regarding the pricing of the camera. It is supposed to cost a little higher than IDX Mark II above 6000 dollars.

EOS collection has always been about image quality, speed, and ergonomics. This time, the uninterrupted stills capture is supposed to be faster in Mark III. The new camera will have a 16fps frame rate along with the optical viewfinder and live view. EOS-1 IDX Mark III will offer a brand new AF sensor with extra resolution than Mark II. It will adapt to an advanced AF algorithm with deep learning technology for unparalleled focus tracking. The new venture of Canon will have a CMOS sensor and a DIGIC processor for improved image quality across its ISO range. Mark III is supposed to feature Wi-Fi, Bluetooth low energy, and GPS. Through a built-in Ethernet port, the camera is supposed to have greater transfer speed than its predecessor.

The last generation of EOS 1 camera, Mark II became very popular among filmmakers. This camera was specially designed for professional photographers. Mark II still has very impressive video-oriented specs. However, Canon’s Mark III will introduce a new AF point selection control, which is incorporated in the AF button. This control will help photographers in quick and easy selection of autofocus points. The officials have said that the latest generation of EOS 1, Mark III will go on display at the largest photography event known as ‘Photo plus’, held from 24 Oct to 26 Oct in New York city.
